Relena, that hat is big enough to kill someone with. |

"It's strange--I suddenly feel as if a huge transparent replica of my own head is watching me..." Name: Relena Darlian-Peacecraft Sex: Female Age: 15 in GW, 16 in EW Weight: let's just say that Relena, weight-wise, is the epitome of what a slew of superficial American girls strive to be (but can't, because they all frequent McDonald's) Height: 5'1" (I guess that's why she's so light--her weight has nowhere to go!) Dorothy, please tie Relena to the chair--she's floating away again. Gundam: She doesn't have one. But if she did, it would be pink. Distinguishable features: Pensive look, blue eyes, little mini braid, mouth always open. Personality: Uhmm....she's one hard-headed girl. She's really cool...a lot of people think she's like a stalker chick, but she's not really....she was just fascinated with Heero, that son of a gun is just so darned intriguing!!...Every step you take, every move you make, I'll be watching you..... Past: Relena was adopted by the Darlians, but her true parents were the Peacecrafts, leaders of a pacifist nation....that's why Relena gets to become Queen of the World... what an obligation. Relena should have ordered everyone beheaded and then sat smugly in her little throne eating teacakes. Well...Heero gets to keep his head. Because she wants to make good use of it. (Waaaaitt a minute, which kind of head are we talking about...) Maybe I should abstain from double entendres. Nationality: British ? Place of residence: Earth! Wow!! In all seriousness...: Relena is one of the most complex characters in the series. That being said, she also endures the most character changes through out the duration of the series. I said it before, and I'll say it again: I admire Relena more than any other fictional cartoon series character; Gundam Wing or other. She's highly intelligent, and though at the start of the series she is your typical spoiled rich girl, she has a string of traumatic things happen to her, and she changes. While she may understand early on that pacifism is a hard ideal to accomplish, she sticks with it for the sake of her family, the late Peacecraft Empire, and she works really hard. She is eloquent and charming. Though she acknowledges finally that total pacifism can't be completely realized, she compromises the ideals and works for a better tomorrow. NOTE: WHEN SHE SHOT AT LADY UNE, SHE WAS JUSTIFIED. AS FAR AS VIOLATING HER PACIFIST IDEALS, SHE WAS NOT A PEACECRAFT YET AND DIDN'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THEM. SO SHUT UP. Free Style Analysis Humor: Relena wants peace, bad. Almost as she much as she wants some hard, sweaty, bony Heero lovin'. She's into politics, and she is the heir to the Peacecraft family. Her brother is Milliardo, AKA Zechs Merquise AKA girly man underwear model incarnate. I give her a lot of credit...she must have a ton of pressure on her all the time. Then there's the deal with her and Heero. OK, so in a few episodes she acted strange around him. But I think he acts more like he likes her than she likes him in a lot of episodes. (falls out of Gundam, looks up, sees Relena's head, mutters "relena." Can't shoot her even though she needs to die for the cause. Says "relena" for no apparent reason. The teddy bear. etc) Then she was Queen of the World. (Until Treize fired her. I hate you, Treize.) Relena becomes a politician as well, after the series ends. And Heero gives her a teddy bear, and, in my favorite piece of the series, Relena tears the note he wrote her in half, reminiscent of his ripping up her birthday invite. I was like, "Ooohhh, SMACK DOWN!" It was a great scene of Revenge and Relena asserting herself to Heero (and all of the Anti Relena bandwagon fans) that she is a strong and independent woman, and she will not hang off of Heero's every gesture. But I think it was also a movement of other things between them-- Relena knows she and Heero have a definite bond, and she was almost saying to him, "You don't have to tell me anything with words-- I know what you're thinking-- we've been through so much -- and I appreciate you. The words that you put in this card are just words-- the feelings in your heart are what resonate in me." Yes, I need a life. Actually, little did Relena know, Heero had included two tickets to the Caribbean's finest all-inclusive hotel inside that card. Good thing Heero keeps a stash of paste in his Gundam at all times. Relena changes most throughout the course of Gundam Wing...first she's a cliquey, bratty, stalker-type schoolgirl, and then BAM! She's a powerful political figure. The most eloquent of everyone in Gundam Wing. Except maybe the resident psycho, Dorothy. But then Dorothy's a psycho. Personally, I think Gundam Wing wouldn't be the same without her or her pink limousine. Relena Quote: "Roses don't suit me, either. I'd look much better drenched in the blood of OZ!" "The Sanc Kingdom, under the Peacecraft rule, has always practiced the idea of pacifism." [Hear it] "Heeeeeeeero!"

Rebel/Warrior was created by SeaShelle in June 2000. It was last updated in June 2005. Rebel/Warrior is just a little character/humor-oriented site about Mobile Suit: Gundam Wing, a Japanese anime by Sunrise and Bandai. This site has no affiliation with those companies. So yeah.
