Kiki and Michel.

/The Lovers/

OK, a bit unsupported by the cartoon, but nonetheless a valid coupling. Kiki and Michel, both reeling from rejection, have become great companions and though Kiki is a bit domineering, Michel is a bit wimpy to make up for it and therefore fate couples them as such. They're close in age (Kiki is 17, Michel is 18) and they develop a...closeness. More reminiscent of the days when I was young, and kind of how I treated my brothers, but, as we've discovered over and over again with GUNDAM WING, incest is always an option! The greatest understanding occurs when Kiki realizes BB's worth to Michel, and she similarly offers to take the letter to be sent. Michel, in turn, stands up for Kiki to Shiro, but Shiro remains his usual dopey self. When Michel learns that Kiki (and her village) are endangered, Michel is the first to scream, "We have to go to Kiki!" He vehemently protests that he wants to save the fiery young girl. Now, maybe he's just a nice guy; or maybe he hates Kiki but doesn't want her to go so far as to DIE, or maybe he wants to kill Kiki himself (he's still bitter that she read his kinky note from BB, though by the end of the series he's decided that 'BB' probably stands for "backstabbing bitch".) I think they have a definite bond of sorts, and no, I did not mean anything kinky by that. They seem to be at an impasse of mutual understanding but not quite sure what to do next. Both are utterly alone, and since we're not quite sure what happened to Karen and the gang, they seem to be left to each other, and have grown quite fond of each other, in a weird sort of way. Hopefully, they get past their fears of cooties and form a basic relationship. Oh, and Kiki needs to stop causing unnecessary pain to Michel, even though he is the weak one. But then again, Kiki kind of reminds me of a juvenile Dorothy (even though, technically, she'd be the same age as our beloved Dot) in the fact that she kind of strikes me as a dominatrix-type personality. See, there's A Type personalities, B Type personalities, and Dominatrix Type personalities.

Rebel/Warrior was created by SeaShelle in June 2000. It was last updated in June 2005. Rebel/Warrior is just a little character/humor-oriented site about Mobile Suit: Gundam Wing, a Japanese anime by Sunrise and Bandai. This site has no affiliation with those companies. So yeah.
